We love catching up with our hen party groups after the party is over and it was fantastic to receive some photos from Mickayla showing what the group got up to after their sash decorating with us. But firstly here’s a few snaps from the craft party itself…
It was an early start with the one of our breakfast brunches consisting of mini pastries, bagels, fruit tarts and fresh fruit, then straight into the sash decorating. We pre-made the cotton sashes before the party in mint green as requested and there was a bee/nature theme which we incorporated into the fabric and stencils. We used our appliqué technique similar to our Hen Heirloom Quilt party as well as some basic sewing, all finished with their very own badges doubled up to hold the sashes in place.
The group then went on to Denbies Vineyard in Dorking for some wine tasting followed by the lovely Thai Terrace in Guildford, I need to check this place out!
We had a really lovely review from Mickayla on our Facebook page after the workshop so a big thank you to Denise, Mickayla and all the girls for a great party and for keeping in touch with us! Special thanks also go to Dee & Hannah from Splendid Occasions who helped out with the workshop and the breakfast.
“I booked a sash making workshop for a hen party I was organising and really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or book another workshop with Kirsty again. She did a fab job encouraging the guests to create fun and pretty sashes which we wore for the remainder of the day and are a lovely keepsake. Brunch was delicious and the decorations were great . Thoroughly enjoyable!”- Mickayla.
Have a fab weekend lovelies!
