We love running our craft hen parties and we especially love catching up with our groups after the wedding! We hosted Becky’s Rustic Kilner Jars Hen Party back in May 2016 in Brighton with a group on 18 lovely ladies in a fantastic house they were renting for the weekend..
It was a lovely afternoon, we had some really intricate designs and even some on-trend acidic colour mixing! The great thing about this workshop is that the hens can make a jar for the bride to use at the wedding and also one for themselves to take home. It’s completely customisable and we can tailor it to any colour scheme and theme. That’s exactly what Becky did and her Maid of Honour, Emily, was kind enough to send me some photos from her wedding with the jars used as vases and they look amazing!
We had a really lovely review from Emily on our Facebook page after the workshop so a big thank you to Becky, Emily and all the girls for a great party and for keeping in touch with us, we loved receiving the photos from the wedding!
“I was arranging a Hen do, for 18 people, and Kirsty was absolutely fantastic, from efficient emails for logistics, to accommodating a last minute change of location.
On the day Kirsty and her assistant where so friendly and efficient. This service is topped off by the lovely touches they do to make it personal – badges, welcomes bags, straws, frames, this is why you should use them, I didnt find another company who offered and DELIVERED on all the great touches.
They are fab, the girls all loved it! and the kilner jars were used at the wedding reception – much to many hen girl coo’s when they walked in.
Thanks so much for everything – we love Make, Do & Trend x”
Hopefully this post inspires brides or those planning a hen do that you can do something different and our Rustic Kilner Jars workshop is the perfect way to add some DIY details to your wedding as well as involving all the special people in your life.
If any of our previous hens read this and have photos of their creations from any one of our workshops at their weddings or even in their own homes, we’d love to see and feature them.
